This isn't always true, but the drivers you need should be in a similar folder somewhere.
Compaq usually has a folder called 'compaq' on the root (that is, it should be c: compaq) and a folder in that called 'drivers'. If you are still using that computer and you haven't erased the original factory software, the drivers should be in a directory somewhere on the hard drive.
